Since October 1, 2008 we have been enhancing Erin Hills for the upcoming 2011 U.S. Amateur. Our goal is to make Erin Hills a better golfing experience for you.

We intend to offer you a more challenging, playable, fun but fair, and visually stunning and memorable golfing experience on a true championship golf course.

The enhancement program has placed our schedule about two weeks behind where we had intended to be. Erin Hills will be very playable. The greens will be rolling true while the sodded fairways have grown in. The tees will be in very good condition.

There are, however, some areas that will not be up to our standards. For example, many of the new bunkers surrounds will not be fully grown in. Some of the outside turf where we added new irrigation will not be up to par with the regular fairways.

Many acres of native fescue "between the holes" have been reseeded with new fine fescue, which will result in a thinner, more playable, and beautiful Erin Hills. All this takes time.
Therefore, we are offering a reduced fee of $95 through July 31 for all booked tee times and for all new reservations. As always, optional professional caddies or golf cars are additional.

The clubhouse, pub, guest rooms, and caddie service will all be up to our quality standard.
