Potawatomi Casino Hotel (PCH) has just upped their game with the newly opened Potawatomi Sportsbook and Poker Room, both available to the public as of May 3 at 1 pm. The day started with an elaborate opening ceremony with VIP guests and media in attendance as they gave an ear to Dominic Ortiz, CEO & GM of Potawatomi Casino Hotel as well as Chairman James Crawford, Chairman of Forest County Potawatomi Community Tribal Council.
"This is a 33 year venture that comes from a small bingo hall and now here we are, continuing to build for the future. We're building for the future of gaming, sports, music, entertainment, our city, and most importantly, building for the future of the Forest County Potawatomi Community and tribe," says Ortiz. "And that's why we do what we do. And along the way, we're bringing some epic and awesome assets to our guests."
Chairman Crawford adds, "Potawatomi Casino Hotel is already the number one travel destination in the state, and we believe that the Sportsbook and Poker Room will become an attraction to those who live well beyond the state line, bringing in more tourism revenue to the state of Wisconsin. Let the sports betting begin!"
The Potawatomi Sportsbook has over 20 kiosks (70+ on property) and 10 ticket writers, a restaurant, called The Kitchen at the Sportsbook, which features a full food and drink menu, seating for over 200 sports fans, a VIP level, a state-of-the art broadcast booth, and the largest LED screen in the Midwest that's over 2,000 sq. ft. in size.
The Poker Room has 14 tables with 9 spots and a skilled dealer at each one. The custom-designed room is 4,400 sq. ft., fitted with the perfect lighting and chairs with extra cushion, and open 20 hours a day, 8 am- 4 am. Players can join wait lists for tables and view available games by logging on to the Bravo Poker Live app.
