Washington County in 2013 once again made Golfweek Magazine's Top 50 Municipal Courses list. Ranked #1 in Wisconsin and ranked #24 in the Nation.

Washington County Golf Course has been chosen to host the 1999-2006,2008,2009 and 2010 USGA Regional Public Links Qualifiers, the 2000 Wisconsin PGA Championship, the 2001 Wisconsin State Junior Championship, the 2002, 2006 and 2009 Wisconsin PGA Match Play Championship, the annual Washington County Scratch Pro-Am, and the 2006 US Open Qualifying Round.

There are 18 signature holes at Washington County.

There is no better view, than from the Clubhouse around sunrise or sunset overlooking the entire course with Holy Hill in the background.

What Is Your Favorite Hole? Any Tips to Play It?
Number Nine is the front nine's most challenging hole. Long- Uphill- with bunkers guarding the dogleg right. Missing left is safe but lengthens an already long hole. Most of us should approach the left side of the green to avoid a front fright bunker and to take advantage of a gentle slope right on the putting surface.

Must Have Dish or Drink after the round at the 19th Hole?
The Deli at Washington County Golf Course offers a variety of sandwiches, burgers, wraps, and daily specials. In addition, we provide a wide assortment of beverages: Coca-Cola products, Powerade, Arnold-Palmer Ice Tea, and a selection of over 30 Beers and Malt Beverages.

Little did he know that mowing greens and fixing divots would one day lead to a career writing about the best courses on the planet.

In 2004, Brian turned his golf passion into a business, launching GolfWisconsin.com. Three years later, he expanded his vision, and GolfTrips.com was born—a one-stop shop for golf travel junkies looking for their next tee time. Today, his empire spans all 50 states, and 20+ international destinations.

On the course, Brian is a weekend warrior who oscillates between a 5 and 9 handicap, depending on how much he's been traveling (or how generous he’s feeling with his scorecard). His signature move" A high, soft fade that his playing partners affectionately (or not-so-affectionately) call "The Weis Slice." But when he catches one clean, his 300+ yard drives remind everyone that while he may write about golf for a living, he can still send a ball into the next zip code with the best of them.
