What Is Your Favorite Hole? Any Tips to Play It? Number Nine is the front nine's most challenging hole. Long- Uphill- with bunkers guarding the dogleg right. Missing left is safe but lengthens an already long hole. Most of us should approach the left side of the green to avoid a front fright bunker and to take advantage of a gentle slope right on the putting surface.
