Description
This Golf course and resort was originally esablished in the 1920s as an escape retreat for gangster Joe Soltis, a Chicago beer baron. The Course is respected, challenging, and noted for its Scottish style flair of rolling hills and manicured, elevated greens. Framing the course are the majestic Chequamegan National Forest and Barker Lake. From many holes, golfers experience lake views and lake breezes. The clubhouse resides on the shores of Barker Lake. Services include golf tournaments, business outings,golf packages in classic , nostalgic atmosphere.
