Great Course - Great Value

Ironwood is a really nice public course in Sussex area. (Northwest of Milwaukee)

Ironwood features 3 courses:

The Callow - More heavy tree line course.

The Meath - Open course with a few great risk vs Reward holes. Like a driveable par 4.

The Birr - The most challenging of the three with numerous blind shots, undulating fairways and water on 7 of 9 holes.

It is noteworthy that Ironwood has hosted the LPGA Futures Tour.

Shot selection is key here and many cases you might want to hit the smart shot or layup because if you go for broke you might see your scorecard blow up.

All in all it is a great mid tier course. Well manicured, friendly service with a great variety of golf holes.

Last tip - grab a big hot dog on the turn they are a 10!
